At HTIAA Bastrop County Chapter, we are a vibrant and passionate community of graduates and friends of the association from Huston-Tillotson University who share a common commitment to the values of excellence, diversity, and entrepreneurship. Our chapter serves as a bridge between the university and its esteemed alumni, creating a space for connection, collaboration, and continued growth.

Our mission is to actively engage and support our diverse alumni community. Grounded in the principles instilled by our alma mater, we are dedicated to fostering lifelong relationships, professional development, and social impact. Through a range of initiatives, events, and programs, we aim to strengthen the ties that bind us and contribute to the ongoing success of both our alumni and Huston-Tillotson University.

HISTORY
Huston-Tillotson University is a historically black college located in Austin, Texas. Tillotson College and Samuel Huston College were established to provide higher education to African Americans in Austin, and the schools merged in 1952. Located in the historically black neighborhood of East Austin, Huston-Tillotson University and its parent schools have been a central part of the East Austin community for over 140 years.
BUILDING A LEGACY
Our initiative is all about "Beautification and Growth" on our beloved university campus.
Our ambitious goal is to raise $40,000, and we believe that, together, we can not only reach but exceed this milestone!
